The Ancient Rome and the United States are different in many ways. One way Rome is different from the United states is that it had to different periods the empire and the republic. Another way rome is different from the United States is that in Rome each class had different offices with different levels of power. In the United States we have the same offices for each class. In America we have 3 main branches of government,but ancient Rome had 7.In Ancient Rome they had one absolute ruler,but in the United States we have a democracy.

There are many similarites between Ancient Rome and today's United States Both began by the aggressive annexation of nearby lands.Both were sole superpowers in the world.Both believed the Eagle symbolized their ideals. Both were known for decadence and over indulgence of things.
